What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

Karen brought this lovely quilt that she made for her sister.  The base pattern is a free download from All People Quilt called Skinny Strips.  Karen always like to put her own twist on her quilts, so she enlarged the throw pattern to a queen size by adding the smaller sections along the edges.

Karen also likes to add something unique to the back of her quilts, and often adds some piecing.   This quilt has really become reversible with this interesting back.

Karen selected the Curl and Swirl pantograph for a pretty finish.

I recently quilted the two variations of the Gemini Quilt pattern for Leslie at Keystone Modern Creative.  Kits are available for this pattern from Villa Rosa Designs.

On the version with the black background I selected the Raindrops pantograph.  I love the bold fireside backing colors on both of the quilts!

On the variation with the white background I chose the Curls and Swirls pantograph. It is amazing how the same blocks are transformed with a change in color and layout.

Reneta made this "Deep Dive" quilt as part of Art East Quilt Company's mystery sew along for 2020/2021.  

Reneta's choice of the metallic ombre dot fabric for the creatures makes for such a happy and fun quilt.  I'm not sure which block is my favorite.  Reneta selected the Curl and Swirl pantogrpah that has just the right vibe for this one.

This fun arrows quilt was made as mystery project in her sewing group.  no waste in this one as the scraps from the arrows were used in the border!  Christine chose the popcorn pantograph for this one.

Christine found the a flannel backing that complemented the top perfectly.
